There's something about fine perfume and beautiful scents that is so uplifting. Just try buying a new, beautifully scented shower gel and taking a warm shower. Buy some scented flowers or pick some from your garden. Breathe-in the scent. Just notice how you feel when you catch the rich scent of roses in full bloom. Doesn't it make you feel good?
Walk around your garden for a few moments, breathe the scent of the flowers (Did you know that some of the smaller, less significant-looking white flowers carry a stronger scent than bright colorful flowers? Sweet alyssum is a excellent example), take in the colors and breathe deeply.
If you have no garden of your own, a walk around a public garden can be just as effective especially if the grass has just been mowed and the smell of the grass is in the air. Or visit a garden center and wander through the plants for a few minutes just looking and enjoying. Even just leafing through a gardening book and looking at the beautiful pictures can help;if you don't own any gardening books, why not borrow a couple from the local public library?
