Stress relief through music

Now, here is a great destressing technique i found out recently. Are you a music lover? Even if you are not, you must have a special music that you like to listen to most of the time. You can now destress yourself by listening to that music but with a different approach.
Sit or lie in a comfortable position and turn on the music. Do not forget to losen your tie and collar button of your shirt. If possible, open your shoes. Close your eyes, take 3 deep breaths and exhale slowly. Now while listening to the music imagine the music flowing to the different parts of your body. If that seems hard, then try to imagine a golden light. The light flows into your body through your ear and then goes to different parts of the body, relaxing the part where it goes. If any particular bodypart is stressed out or paining due to overstress, let the music or light move about that part while you take 5 deep breaths. While exhaling, imagine the stress flowing out of your body along with the exhalation.
If you are suffering from headache or eyepain or muscular fatigue or insomnia, this technique is great to get you relaxed instantly. Just do it for 5 mins and see the result for yourself.I recommend instrumental music like those of flute,saxophone,guitar or piano.
